Plymouth Meeting, PA (USA), March 27, 2013 – Maxx Medical, Pvt. Ltd., a global medical device company, attracted more than 80 medical professionals to its "Knee Masters Course," a two-day symposium held in conjunction with the International Congress for Joint Reconstruction - Middle East (ICJR-Middle East) conference. Attendees from Korea, China, France, the Middle East, India and the US gathered to review and discuss new technologies and techniques to help treat patients suffering from knee pain.
Attendees also received training specific to the Freedom Total Knee System® ("Freedom Knee"), a total knee replacement system specifically engineered for deep flexion, bone conservation and advanced component size and fit capabilities. Training included an overview of the Freedom Knee Stemmed Tibial component, a new product that was launched during the event.
"Maxx Medical should be congratulated for gathering such an excellent faculty to present and promote the exchange of ideas and knowledge about cutting-edge developments taking place in the field of primary and revision knee replacement surgery," said Dr. Nilen Shah, who travelled to the symposium from Mumbai, India.
"The interaction amongst the faculty and presentations showcasing the results of Freedom Knee surgeries was especially informative."
"I was quite impressed with the Freedom Knee revision prosthesis. These symposia are essential for better understanding applications of the techniques related to new products," commented Dr. N.S. Laud also of Mumbai.
According to Maxx Medical CEO Ashesh Shah, hosting the Knee Masters Course during ICJR-Middle East allowed for natural synergies as both organizations are focused on innovation, training and best practice sharing.
