Ashesh Shah, Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Ashesh Shah is the President, CEO and co-founder of Maxx Medical. He has been instrumental in developing the commercial value of Maxx Medical’s intellectual property (IP), building an IP framework, securing funding and developing a global organization that has achieved sales and regulatory approvals in US, India, EU and other countries for several orthopedic implant products in just 5 years. He recently led the acquisition of new product lines and distribution networks to grow Maxx Medical’s product portfolio.
Born in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, where most of his family still resides, Mr. Shah has been doing business in India for the past 20 years. He has leveraged his cross-cultural expertise to build organizations with distributed sales and operational capabilities, particularly on the Indian sub-continent. Mr. Shah holds degrees from the Wharton School of Business and the Moore School of Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania. He is based in the United States.
Corey A. Perine, Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Corey Perine is COO of Maxx Medical. He manages global manufacturing for the company’s range of large joint products, including engineering, production and quality management oversight.
Mr. Perine has more than 15 years of general management, business development and international sales and marketing experience in the healthcare, consumer marketing and education industries, with a focus on applying innovative technologies to solve business problems. Mr. Perine has an undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia and an MBA from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. He is based in the United States.
Gerry Savage, Vice President of Sales
Gerry Savage is Vice President of Sales for Maxx Orthopedics leading the Maxx sales team in the United States.
Mr. Savage has both undergraduate and graduate degrees from Eastern University in St. David’s PA where he is also an adjunct professor. He has been a leader in orthopedics for 28 years and brings in-depth knowledge of sales, distributorship operations, marketing, and sales training.
